My interests include running, cooking, spending time with my honey, family and friends, reading, watching movies, college football, and sleeping in. I love to laugh, I love getting lost in a good book, and I love the rain. If you don't like useless trivia, random Seinfeld and Family Guy quotes, sarcasm, or chicks who are goofy, you should probably not read this blog!

I recently moved to Dallas from Oklahoma. I accepted an amazing job offer here in the Big D. I spent most of my life in Texas but moved back to Oklahoma (I was born there) in 2006. I miss my family in OK but life is good here in north Dallas...it's a brand new chapter!

I've worked in the Geosciences area of oil and gas for more than 10 years. I work for an amazing company and with great people. I am a graduate of the University of Oklahoma...BOOMER SOONER! I am in a relationship with a smart, thoughtful, handsome man and I am loving what each day brings. This blog is a basic journal and a way for me to document life's adventures which may or may not include: bad hair days, failed recipes, blurry photography, discussions about poop, blisters, and black toenails (ah, the joys of running), my sappy love life, funny family members, joys, triumphs, and downfalls.
